Ashwani Trehan is a seasoned marketing specialist with over 49 years of experience working with esteemed multinational corporations. He holds a Master’s degree in Communication from John Hopkins University, USA.
During his distinguished career, Mr. Trehan dedicated 23 years to P&G India, where he played a pivotal role in successfully launching two prominent products—Whisper sanitary napkin and Ariel detergent. His expertise spans marketing strategy, sales management, promotional campaigns, product launches, and training of sales teams, providing him with a robust foundation in these domains.
In 1997, he transitioned to consulting for communication and electronics firms in the USA, a role he excelled in for the next two decades. Motivated by a desire to nurture and develop people’s skills following his extensive career, he founded the American Academy of Soft Skills in 2016. Mr. Trehan remains passionate about leveraging his wealth of experience in diverse opportunities.
In January 2017, he launched the ‘Soch Badlo Desh Badlo’ initiative under the Indian Prime Minister’s initiative, targeting skill development and women empowerment in rural areas of Haryana, and Rajasthan, and among Delhi University students. This groundbreaking program yielded valuable insights into India’s market dynamics, particularly among young students from diverse rural and urban backgrounds across India and neighboring countries.
Rashi Patel is a dedicated and results-oriented professional with five years of expertise in Learning & Development, specializing in enhancing employability skills among students, facilitating placements, and overseeing operational management. Currently serving as the Operations Manager at the American Academy of Soft Skills, she is responsible for overseeing all core operations and communications within the organization.
