Ashwani Trehan is a seasoned marketing specialist with over 49 years of experience working with esteemed multinational corporations. He holds a Master’s degree in Communication from John Hopkins University, USA.
During his distinguished career, Mr. Trehan dedicated 23 years to P&G India, where he played a pivotal role in successfully launching two prominent products—Whisper sanitary napkin and Ariel detergent. His expertise spans marketing strategy, sales management, promotional campaigns, product launches, and training of sales teams, providing him with a robust foundation in these domains.
In 1997, he transitioned to consulting for communication and electronics firms in the USA, a role he excelled in for the next two decades. Motivated by a desire to nurture and develop people’s skills following his extensive career, he founded the American Academy of Soft Skills in 2016. Mr. Trehan remains passionate about leveraging his wealth of experience in diverse opportunities.
In January 2017, he launched the ‘Soch Badlo Desh Badlo’ initiative under the Indian Prime Minister’s initiative, targeting skill development and women empowerment in rural areas of Haryana, and Rajasthan, and among Delhi University students. This groundbreaking program yielded valuable insights into India’s market dynamics, particularly among young students from diverse rural and urban backgrounds across India and neighboring countries.
Rashi Patel is a dedicated and results-oriented professional with five years of expertise in Learning & Development, specializing in enhancing employability skills among students, facilitating placements, and overseeing operational management. Currently serving as the Operations Manager at the American Academy of Soft Skills, she is responsible for overseeing all core operations and communications within the organization. Rashi brings extensive experience in international student recruitment, having collaborated closely with various US universities.
Ms. Patel has a strong academic background, earning a Gold Medal in Biotechnology for her B.Sc. and an MBA with dual specializations in HR & Marketing. Noteworthy accomplishments include spearheading the launch of the Employability Skills Training Program in Uttarakhand, where she led over 200 impactful training sessions. Her career reflects a dedication to excellence and proactive growth within educational and organizational settings.
Seema Lahiri, is a distinguished motivational speaker, storyteller, counsellor, image consultant, and corporate trainer. With a passion for learning and giving back to society, Seema carries an experience of over two decades, of working with professionals across borders, helping individuals and organisations build a polished image, by developing their behavioural and communication skills.
Seema is the proud recipient of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sales & Marketing from Australia and is a certified NLP & Emotional Intelligence Practitioner. She conducts online sessions for aspiring Image Consultants and soft skills trainers with Image Consulting Business Institute. Sanjiv Malhotra is a seasoned professional with 34 years of experience in Marketing, Sales Promotions, and Training. His career began at Procter & Gamble India Limited, where he dedicated 14 years to various roles, culminating as the All-India Sales Marketing Manager and Trainer. At P&G, Sanjiv was instrumental in launching international brands and training sales teams, serving as both Regional and All-India Training Manager for new product lines.
After leaving P&G, Sanjiv spent two decades as the All-India Sales Training Manager with Emami Limited, NIS Sparta, and HCL Educational Learning. He has extensive experience training diverse sectors including automotive giants like Maruti Suzuki, Ford Motors, Chevrolet, Hero Honda, Eicher Tractors & Sonalika Tractors as well as in communications and power sectors with companies such as Nokia, BSNL, BSES, NHDC and Power Grid. His expertise extends to soft skills training in team building and communication, and he is adept at managing teams of trainers and ensuring the effective execution of training programs.
Junu Pokhrel is a dynamic and passionate social youth activist and leader. As the Director of Star College in Biratnagar, Nepal, she has made a profound impact on both the youth and the broader community by driving positive change and fostering personal growth.
